The specifications show the lowest temperature without load for the BRC-03A Recirculating Chiller is -20°C, but also says it has 200 W cooling capacity at that temperature? Can it hold -20°C with a load on it?
Being states that under their testing the BRC-03A chiller is 60% efficient at -20°C, so it would be able to maintain -20°C with a load of no more than 120 W. -20°C will be the lowest temperature with or without load, as it is the lowest setpoint temperature for the chiller.
How is the power specification for the whole chiller lower than the maximum cooling capacity?
This specification is given as a normal operating power consumption. The actual power consumption will vary based on usage and may be significantly higher in demanding applications.
